Tianjin Bird Watching Society was an NGO established by ornithologists, wild bird photographers, birdwatchers and environmentalists in January 2010.

Aims:

1. To conserve both birds and their habitats;
2. To promote the knowledge related to birds and bird protection;
3. To promote birdwatching to the public.

1. Human and birds in harmony; Human and Nature in harmony; Human and Human in harmony;
2. To respect, help and learn from each other;
3. To do things sincerely.

Major tasks:

1. To promote the knowledge related to birds and bird protection;
2. To promote birdwatching and raise public awareness on birds and their protection;
3. To provide useful information to the related government departments;
4. To help the scientific research departments to conduct waterbird surveys in Tianjin;
5. To cooperate with other birdwatching societies on the development of bird conservation and birdwatching.
